2008 Powerboat P1 World Championship: Round 6 - Portugal

The sixth and final round of the Powerboat P1 World Championship takes place in Portimao, Portugal during the weekend of 27th - 28th September.

After Round 5 in Spain, the Evolution Class is led by British Team 99 Fountain Worldwide1st4boats.com team of the reigning world champion crew of James Sheppard and Craig Wilson, whilst Italian team 44 Conam Yachts leads the Supersports Class.

The Championship creates a dramatic spectacle, as the sleek yet highly powered racing boats embark upon a series of closely fought off-shore endurance races across Europe and the Middle East. The 6 venues for 2008 are Italy, France, Malta, Tunisia, Spain and Portugal.
