The fifth round of the 2009 Powerboat P1 World Championship takes us to Sicily, Italy during the weekend 11-13th September.

The Championship creates a dramatic spectacle, as the sleek yet highly powered racing boats embark upon a series of closely fought off-shore endurance races across Europe. The venues for 2009 are Malta, Turkey, Italy ,Sweden and Sicily.

Teams from around the world will compete in the Evolution or Supersport Class races.
