Retromobile is the world's most elegant classic car show, featuring some of the greatest vehicles and most famous personalities from the golden age of motoring and motorsport.

This programme, presented by respected motorsport journalist Simon Taylor, takes you to the Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles for the 33rd Retromobile show. Join Simon as he meets the stars and cars, visits some of the more than 300 exhibitors and experiences the incredible classic car auction hosted by Bonhams.

Major motor manufacturers grace the show with rare historic vehicles from their collections, and many of the finest examples are shown in glorious close up. This programme looks at the likes of Citroen, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic 2CV, Honda, Renault, Bugatti, Mercedes, Maserati and many more great names.

Racing legends Stirling Moss and Vic Elford talk to Simon about their illustrious careers and the cars which carried them to victory.

The programme also examines the incredible price tags attached to some of the classic cars on show, such as the magnificent 1928 supercharged Mercedes-Benz 26/120/180 S-type Roadster, valued at more than £1.8million, which was just one of the 75 lots in the Bonhams auction.

Not only will you enjoy a guided tour of the exhibition halls, but you will also be treated to the spectacular sight of classic cars parading through the streets of Paris.
