WTCC Marrakech - Edited feature with Commentary

Gabriele Tarquini and Andy Priaulx shared victories today in Marrakech, coming home safe after two races that were spoiled by a number of crashes and safety car periods.
In the first race the reigning world champion and his SEAT León TDI car took the lead at the start and benefitted from the fight for second to build a small gap that proved crucial the moment that the race was frozen by the safety car for good.
In race 2 Priaulx made the most out of his pole position on the reverse grid to take command. Two different crashes on laps 1 and 7 chaged the race into a procession behind the safety car until the very last lap in which Priaulx sprinted to BMW's first victory of the season beating Chevrolet's Yvan Muller by a small margin.

IRC Islas Canarias - HLTS International Sound

Jan Kopecky has secured his first victory of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge season following a tense finish to Rally Islas Canarias today (Saturday). Kopecky moved in front when Kris Meeke suffered a puncture on Friday's penultimate stage, but then had to stave off pressure from Skoda Motorsport team-mate Juho Hanninen, who closed to within 9.1 seconds of the Czech driver at the finish in Las Palmas.

Bridgestone F1 - Drive for Charity

In celebration of the 10^th anniversary of Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the company recently organized its MD Cup 10^th Anniversary Challenge Drive for Charity golf event at the renowned Saujana Golf and Country Club.

The Drive for Charity was in conjunction with the Make Cars Green campaign to promote greener motoring.

Bridgestone F1 - Schumacher Promotes 'Make Cars Green'

Seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher helped underline Bridgestones commitment to the FIAs Make Cars Green program at an event held in collaboration with the Australian Automobile Association at the RACV City Club in Melbourne.

Bridgestone is a strong supporter of the FIAs global initiative, which educates and encourages motorists to think green before they drive to reduce the impact of cars on the environment.

BTCC Event 2 Rockingham

Arch rivals Matt Neal and Jason Plato shared the wins in today’s three Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship rounds at Rockingham. Neal won both races one and three in his Honda Racing Team Honda Civic but it is Plato, victorious in race two in his Silverline Chevrolet Cruze, who leaves Northamptonshire leading the standings from Neal as the BTCC now heads to the world-famous Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit in Kent in just seven days time (Sunday 2 May) for its third round out of ten in 2010.

This week the world Motocross championship starts the two thousand and ten FIM world Motocross championship with the Bulgarian Grand Prix and we go sportscar racing at Silverstone in England with the European GT-four cup.
